Guests will be welcomed aboard at Ha Long International Cruise Port. Check-in procedures will be completed at the waiting lounge, while luggage will be carefully transferred to the cruise by the crew.

Use the Tender to transfer to the main vessel. The Captain and all staff will welcome guests aboard, the Ship Manager will brief on safety measures throughout the journey as well as summarize the itinerary while guests enjoy welcome drinks.

The cruise departs from Ha Long International Cruise Port, taking guests to explore the world natural wonder of Ha Long Bay. The vessel anchors at Bo Nau Cave area, the core zone of the world heritage site, small boats take guests to visit Sung Sot Cave, – one of the most spectacular and beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay.

After visiting Sung Sot Cave, small boats continue to take guests to Titop Island – an island named after the Soviet space hero Gherman Titov, named by President Ho Chi Minh since 1962. Here, guests can freely swim or climb the mountain. From the summit over 100m above sea level, guests can enjoy a spectacular and enchanting view of Ha Long Bay…

Guests will continue the journey to visit one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay – Me Cung Cave.

Guests return to the cruise to rest and complete check-out procedures. Please place your luggage at the cabin door; staff will transfer it to the port upon arrival. The cruise then departs for Ha Long International Passenger Port.

– All activities are included in the package; guests may choose to rest and relax on board without participating in all activities.
– Depending on weather, water levels, and operating conditions, swimming and kayaking activities may be canceled due to bad weather. Services not used for this reason are non-refundable.

– Main meals on the cruise as stated in the itinerary are included.
– A standard menu is prepared for all guests. If you have any special dietary requirements, food allergies, or vegetarian requests, please inform us at least 3 days prior to departure.

– Guests are required to bring their ID card or passport (necessary for check-in and registration).
– Other essential personal items to prepare include sunglasses, a hat, sports shoes, swimwear, a camera, etc.

5 stars for Athena in Halong Bay

We came across this tour from my cousin’s recommendation, and it was one of the best cruise in Halong Bay. The cruise’s crew is well spoken with such warm hospitality. The room has a big bed which can sleep 2 adults and 2 young kids. Food is ok. The tour to the Sung Sot cave is a big hit. We all love it.

Best cruise ever

A very well curated, royal journey. The staff was exceptional and thoughtful. The waters were calm and pleasant. The views of Halong Bay were breathtaking. Everything was planned and setup by the cruise for utmost comfort and entertainment. Kelvin, Ha, Tony and all the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and super attentive. We had a visit to the surprise cave, titov island, cooking lessons, morning tai chi and kayaking. The food was also great….and was a slice of halong bay specialties! Really happy to travel with Athena Royal Cruise.

Very very nice and beautiful experience

We are so glad we changed our itinerary to do the two night cruise rather than one. What a special piece of the world Halong bay is and the staff of Athena cruise are all wonderful. Shout out to Chin, who is personable, helpful and an asset to the company. The food was wonderful. The cabin was great and the view out your window is ever changing and spectacular all the time. Could not fault the staff nor the boat. Thanks for making our trip so enjoyable.
