The 2-day, 1-night itinerary aboard the Athena Premium Cruise offers guests a journey to explore the most iconic attractions of Ha Long Bay. The trip includes a visit to Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave – one of the largest and most impressive caves in the bay, a kayaking or bamboo boat experience at Luon Cave amid majestic limestone karsts, and a climb to Titop Island to enjoy panoramic views of the bay from above. Combined with luxurious accommodation and premium services on a modern cruise, this is the perfect choice for a short getaway filled with both adventure and relaxation.

Check in

Guests will be welcomed aboard at Ha Long International Cruise Port. Check-in procedures will be completed at the waiting lounge, while luggage will be carefully transferred to the cruise by the crew.

Use the Tender to transfer to the main vessel. The Captain and all staff will welcome guests aboard, the Ship Manager will brief on safety measures throughout the journey as well as summarize the itinerary while guests enjoy welcome drinks.

The cruise departs from Ha Long International Cruise Port, taking guests to explore the world natural wonder of Ha Long Bay. Guests enjoy lunch with delicious local specialties prepared from regional products (à la carte menu); admire and contemplate the majestic limestone mountains with their diverse and spectacular formations…

Activities

The vessel anchors at Bo Nau Cave area, the core zone of the world heritage site, small boats take guests to visit Sung Sot Cave, – one of the most spectacular and beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay.

After visiting Sung Sot Cave, small boats continue to take guests to Titop Island – an island named after the Soviet space hero Gherman Titov, named by President Ho Chi Minh since 1962. Here, guests can freely swim or climb the mountain. From the summit over 100m above sea level, guests can enjoy a spectacular and enchanting view of Ha Long Bay…

Guests return to the vessel to relax freely and enjoy the sunset over the sea. Unwind and immerse yourself in the wave pool at the Sundeck or enjoy a spa and massage treatment (contact the ship manager for service pricing)…

Guests visit Luon Cave by kayak (free) – one of the most beautiful open caves with diverse endemic vegetation in Ha Long Bay. Guests can also explore the cave on local bamboo boats (VND 50,000 per person).

Check out

Guests return to the cruise to rest and complete check-out procedures. Please place your luggage at the cabin door; staff will transfer it to the port upon arrival. The cruise then departs for Ha Long International Passenger Port.

Guests complete check-out procedures. Enjoy a combined breakfast and lunch, and settle any service bills (if applicable) at the restaurant.

The cruise arrives at Ha Long International Passenger Port.
Farewell to guests and end of the journey.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

– The timing in the itinerary is for reference only; specific times will be announced by the tour guide at departure.
– All activities are included in the package; guests may choose to rest and relax on board without participating in all activities.
– Depending on weather, water levels, and operating conditions, swimming and kayaking activities may be canceled due to bad weather. Services not used for this reason are non-refundable.

– Main meals on the cruise as stated in the itinerary are included.
– A standard menu is prepared for all guests. If you have any special dietary requirements, food allergies, or vegetarian requests, please inform us at least 3 days prior to departure.

– Guests are required to bring their ID card or passport (necessary for check-in and registration).
– Other essential personal items to prepare include sunglasses, a hat, sports shoes, swimwear, a camera, etc.

– 02 nights aboard the luxurious Athena Cruise on a 3-day, 2-night itinerary in a deluxe cabin
– 07 standard meals as per the cruise itinerary at the fine-dining restaurant
– Welcome drink and cold towel
– Kayaking experience, cave visits, swimming and hiking, night squid fishing after dinner
